Visually Appealing Syllabi

In a teaching clinic last week, a colleague picked up my syllabus and after leafing through it said, "My son has ADD. He would never pick this thing up to read it." Her comment opened a new dimension for creating an inclusive classroom: the visual design of my syllabus could make my class more accessible and user-friendly.
